Lise Stransky
Lise Stransky is a passionate, enthusiastic and inquisitive Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) who has helped hundreds of clients find meaningful work for the past eleven years. She is a member of: Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA), Career Professionals of Canada (CPC) and Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA). Lise is committed to lifelong learning and maintaining professional development so her skills are up to date and relevant.
Lise has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Guelph, a Career Development Practitioner Graduate Certificate from Conestoga College, the Emerging Leaders certificate from the University of Calgary and is certified to deliver the Personality Dimensions ™ temperament tool. She has had many different jobs in her career so far, including university recruiter, sandwich artist, Christmas elf, travel writer, career advisor at the University of Calgary Career Services, and most recently, the manager of Career Services for CGA Alberta/Alberta Accountants Unification Agency (soon to be CPA Alberta).
Lise believes work should be meaningful. This is the number one value that guides her work with clients.
Lise is also the mother of two boys, a wife, enjoys running, cycling, cross country skiing, stress baking and is an avid reader of Canadian fiction. She is also a cinnamon bun aficionado, is passionate about her crockpot, and loves visiting farmers markets.
